Lawyers often have to pay more than other professionals for basic business necessities. The thought seems to be that lawyers make a decent living, so it is okay to overcharge them.
Having ran a law practice, I know that these costs add up. The reality is that it is hard to earn a decent living by practicing law. Having to pay more than other professionals is one of the primary reasons for this. For most lawyers, legal advertising and marketing -- be it placing ads on TV, in phone books, or on the internet; or hiring a legal marketing consultant -- are the firm's largest expense.
Using LawRex, we hope that lawyers and law firms will be able to significantly reduce their legal marketing and legal advertising budgets.
This is why LawRex does not try to estimate the maximum amount any one lawyer would be willing to pay for our service, and then use high pressure or deceptive sales tactics to get lawyers to sign up. The price we charge for LawRex is a flat rate. This flat rate is the same for all members who signed up during the same period and is directly related to the cost of providing the service.
LawRex's flat monthly subscription fee ranges from $31.99 to $49.99 per month, depending the member's participation level and subscription length, as outlined in the diagram below. With this modest price, it is highly likely that member attorneys will save more advertising dollars and earn more than the annual cost of LawRex -- even if they receive only one referral per year using LawRex.
LawRex offers a FREE, no-obligation one-month trial. This one-month trial period will be extended if no referrals were submitted for your jurisdiction(s) or practice area(s) during the inital one-month trial period. The trial extension will expire once a referral is submitted that matches your jurisdiction(s) or practice area(s). Participating members can cancel their membership at any time before the expiration of the initial trial period. Thus, there is no cost or commitment to join the LawRex network during the initial trial period.
